Leitech is a thread control system for internal threads, which measures the internal thread size and depth in one operation.

     Leitech is a famous of thread depth gauge manufacture.

  The GO / NOT GO refers to the inspection of the thread hole against its allowed tolerances. The name derives from the use of the gauge. The gauge represents two tests. The check involves the thread hole having to pass one test (GO) and fail the other (NOT GO).

      The GO / NOT GO test is an integral part of the quality process that is used in the manufacturing industry to ensure interchangeability of parts between processes, or even between different manufacturers.

 

     Leitech develops, produces, and markets a complete high-end thread gauging system –  the Leitech System.  It is unique as it represents precision measurement of internal threads and thread depths by one single instrument in one single operation. The System Leitech also represents the feature of replaceable inserts. When inserts are worn, they are easily replaced and the gauge is practically renewed.  

 

The Leitech Digi Gauge is a refined model of the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge. The Digi Gauge reveals the exact measurement on a digital screen. By using the Leitech Digi Gauge you can improve the accuracy of your measurement.

The resolution of the scale on Leitech Digi Gauge System is 0.01 mm/0.0005".

When the requirement for the accuracy is not at this scale, we recommend Leitech Combi gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.5 mm/0.025".

Alternatively, we recommend the Leitech High-Resolution Gauge, which has a measuring accuracy of 0.1 mm/0.005".

  • Features vernier scale built right into the gage body. This scale is accurate to a resolution of .005" (inch models) of 0,1mm (metric models).
  • Locking device allows user to insert gage into the part being examined, tighten the thumb screw, remove gage and read at users convenience.

Application:

The gage can be user wherever a thread gage with depth steps is currently being utilized. It also eliminates the time consuming method of "counting turns" or using a vernier caliper depth scale - neither of which provide even a close indication of functional depth. The gage can also be provided with plain cylindrical members to check depths of drilled holes. 

Pipe threads, both NPT and NPTF, do not require members with the costly basic step ground in. In addition, 1 pitch lines on the NPT and the 4 step lines for the NPTF are incorporated on the sleeves as a standard feature giving the user total flexibility in usage, and reducing costs. A 6 step plain gage is also available. 

 

Gaging Procedure:

Gage use is similar to any good quality double ended gage. As the GO member is inserted into the hole, the spring-loaded telescoping sleeve recedes. This provides user with an accurate DEPTH READING GAGE. (NO GO member is used in conventional way.)
